Newbury Cancer Care is celebrating 40 years of providing vital services to West Berkshire. Established in 1984 by local GP, Paul Millard, the charity provides support to people with cancer and their families. It developed the Rainbow Rooms and more recently organised the Rosemary Appeal at West Berkshire Community Hospital (WBCH). And it has no plans to stop its work in the community, which includes a free transport service for cancer patients. This year will see the start of the Butterfly Rooms project at WBCH.
