Earlier this week, Arsenal announced that Jorginho has signed a contract extension at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners midfielder is reported to have put pen to paper on a one-year extension with the north Londoners. According to The Guardian, Jorginho turned down the prospect of a return to Serie A to extend his stint at Arsenal. The Italy international joined Arsenal from Chelsea in January 2023 in a deal reportedly worth around £12million.
