A five-year-old has completed a hike up Ben Nevis with his dad, raising more than £6,500 for a cancer charity. Jasper Dunsmore took on the 16-hour hike up and down the UK’s highest mountain on Saturday. He had already conquered Scafell Pike in England and Mount Snowdon in Wales. His dad, Peter, said the Dickleburgh Primary School pupil had taken the climb all in his stride. “It was just amazing,” he said. “We woke up at 4am at the foot of the mountain and, an hour later, we started to climb. “We reach the summit at 3.30pm.
