Nearly half of Germans support the cpuntry’s farmers in their protests against the government’s planned subsidy cuts, according to a survey conducted by the Yougov Institue on behalf of dpa. As demonstrations continued for a third day on Wednesday, 45% of respondents stated that they thought the actions were fully justified. A further 27% consider the protests to be “somewhat justified.” Around one in five respondents did not agree or did not agree at all.
