David Ahman and Jonatan Hellvig lived up to their top billing as they gave Sweden a first ever Olympic beach volleyball gold medal on Saturday at the Paris Games. The world ranking leaders were never really troubled in a 21-10, 21-13 victory over Germany’s Nils Ehlers and Clemens Wickler at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. It was their 12th victory in 13 meetings of the two teams.
