By Alex West Messi, the dog from Anatomy of a Fall, took a seat in the Dolby Theater forThe Oscars. In the nominated thriller film, novelist Sandra Voyter’s son Daniel is visually impaired and uses a guide dog named Snoop (played by Messi). When he and Snoop come back home after playing in the woods, they find his father dead. Fingers quickly pointed to Sandra who insisted his death must have been an accident while a friend suggested it might have been a suicide.
