A Lebanese man believed to have links to the Palestinian extremist organization Hamas has been found dead in Lebanon, according to police and security sources. The man was shot five times, Lebanese police said on Wednesday. He was found in the area around Beit Meri, about 20 kilometres north-east of Beirut. A robbery-murder was ruled out because large sums of cash, which were attributed to the victim, were left at the crime scene.
