Kenya’s Emmanuel Wanyonyi pipped Canadian world champion Marco Arop for Olympic gold in a super fast 800 metres final at the Paris Games. Wanyonyi held on to a slender lead all down the home straight for victory in 1 minute 41.19 seconds for third on the all-time list.
