Migrants have sent Denver’s Mayor a list of 13 demands asking for “culturally appropriate” ingredients to cook their own food. The list, submitted earlier this week, claimed the city must meet demands before migrants leave the packed encampment and head to shelters. Migrants refused to leave unless the demands, including access to a free immigration lawyer and fresh cooking ingredients, are accepted by Denver Human Services.
