Guinea and VfB Stuttgart forward Serhou Guirassy has suffered no serious injury but it remains unclear if he can feature in the first match at the Africa Cup of Nations on Monday against Cameroon. The Guinea federation said on platform X in MRI scan revealed that Guirassy suffered “only minor strain” in Monday’s 2-0 win over Nigeria in a tune-up match in Abu Dhabi. “He is feeling no pain but continues to be monitored by the medical staff, who will assess the situation on a day-to-day basis,” the statement said.
