A 63-year-old motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a deer in Barnegat on Thursday evening, police said. The man was riding south on Warren Grove Rd (County Route 610) at about 7:30 p.m. when a deer dashed onto the road from the east, Barnegat police said. The man was brought to an area hospital where he died of his injuries. Police didn’t identify him. The crash is still under investigation. Our journalism needs your support.
