A knife attacker has been shot dead by police in the south-western French city of Bordeaux after a fatal attack. The man stabbed a pedestrian and seriously injured two others in a busy area on the banks of the river Garonne on Wednesday evening, the broadcaster France Info and other media reported, citing the police.
