Ohio Republicans successfully voted Wednesday to override fellow Republican Gov. Mike DeWine’s veto of a bill that aims to restrict both medical care for trans youth and transgender athletes from competing in school sports. The override passed the Ohio House in a 65-28 vote, as chants of “Shame!” could be heard from the House gallery.
