Former Tennessee Volunteers linebacker Elijah Herring has committed to join the Memphis Tigers via the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. He spent the past two seasons with the Vols, and will have two years of eligibility remaining. The linebacker started 11 of 12 games this past season at middle linebacker to lead Tennessee with 80 tackles (four for loss) and 0.5 sacks.
