LG Electronics took part in InfoComm 2024, the largest professional audiovisual exhibition in North America, which took place in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company showcased its latest AI-powered digital display solutions for B2B environments, including retail, enterprise, and education, at a huge 225-square-meter booth.
Among the highlights of LG InfoComm 2024 is the new generation Micro LED display, which is being presented to the public for the first time. The recently announced model, which is scheduled to launch later this year, uses artificial intelligence technology to improve image quality and overall performance.
LG Micro LED
The LG Micro LED display uses tiny LED chips measuring approximately 16 micrometers wide by 27 micrometers long to deliver high contrast, vivid colors, and exceptional detail. The company’s sophisticated artificial intelligence technology is used to produce and accurately evaluate the elements, 25 million of which are integrated into the 136-inch model.
In addition, the display itself uses LG’s AI processor to analyze the brightness and tone of the LED elements in real time, automatically calibrating them to achieve the best possible image quality.
LG Business Cloud
Visitors to LG’s booth could also learn about the signage software available through LG Business Cloud, the company’s exclusive online B2B software platform. These include the LG DOOH Ads commercial display advertising solution, the LG SuperSign Cloud content management solution, and the LG ConnectedCare real-time monitoring and remote management solution.
Each set of software helps you maximize the use of LG’s commercial display solutions and enhance your customer experience.
LG Shield
LG is also showcasing its LG Shield security system at InfoComm 2024. This is an ideal tool for an era when security has become more important than ever. The system is able to protect central servers, applications, and operating systems from a wide range of cyber threats.
LG Shield has received several international security certifications, including Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level 2 (CC EAL2) and OpenChain Security Assurance Specification (ISO/IEC 18974:2023).
Also on display is an advanced artificial intelligence advertising solution implemented by LG in collaboration with partners that can display ads tailored to different audiences.
LG MAGNIT
In addition, LG’s booth will showcase a wide range of display solutions optimized for the corporate environment. These include LG MAGNIT, which now features a 144Hz variable refresh rate (VRR). With this upgrade, users can enjoy high-quality video content without being distracted by screen tearing or stuttering.
The TÜV Rheinland-certified LG MAGNIT delivers superior grayscale performance, boasts exceptional image clarity, and lets users see what’s happening in the darkest scenes more clearly. The display is also certified for color stability across a wide viewing angle.
LG MAGNIT has also received certifications for product and user safety in the installation environment. The LG display complies with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulatory standards for electromagnetic compatibility and has been awarded a Class 1 rating in the British Standards Institute (BSI) Surface Flame Spread Test (BS476 Part7). It also has Eye Comfort certification from TÜV Rheinland for low blue light emissions.
The LG MAGNIT All-in-One monoblock is a 136-inch display with a built-in controller and speakers, ideal for use in offices and conference rooms. Thanks to its elegant and user-friendly design, the display has won prestigious industrial design awards such as the Red Dot Design Award 2024 and the iF Design Award 2024.
Other solutions
Other impressive products LG is showcasing at this year’s InfoComm include 171-inch LED signage and a 105-inch digital signage display with a 21:9 aspect ratio. The huge screens, which are suitable for video conferencing, allow users to display multiple pieces of visual information at the same time, enabling the exchange of large amounts of data or video streams from a large number of conference participants.
Additional displays include the LG CreateBoard, a digital whiteboard that promotes interactive learning and collaboration in both classrooms and workplaces. Certified by Google Mobile Services, LG CreateBoard enables users to easily integrate into the Google ecosystem by connecting their Google accounts.
Visitors could also see LG’s solutions for digital retail environments, including digital menu boards and storefronts designed for restaurants and shops. The company’s solutions provide excellent outdoor visibility thanks to high-brightness displays and enhanced durability through the introduction of technology that protects against screen yellowing from prolonged exposure to sunlight.
“LG’s presentation at InfoComm 2024 showcases a range of AI-powered digital display solutions for B2B customers, demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing technology and meeting the unique display needs of different sectors,” said Paik Ki-Moon, head of the Information Display Business Unit, LG Business Solutions.
