As the November elections approach, data released Wednesday by the Florida Division of Elections shows the Republican Party holds a significant voter registration lead over the Democrats. As of September 30, the GOP had nearly 1.055 million more registered voters than the Florida Democratic Party, with 5,455,480 “active” registered Republicans compared to 4,400,561 Democrats.
