A man has been left in a “critical condition” after being shot by police in a quiet street in Surrey. Officers had descended on Nursery Road in Knaphill, Woking, just after midnight on Sunday after receiving reports of an “armed altercation” in the street. Surrey Police confirmed that a man in his 20s, who has since been taken to hospital, was shot by armed police at the scene. More to follow…
