More than 100 children hunted Easter eggs in the grounds of a village church over the Easter weekend. Children and their parents gathered at Walpole St Andrew church on Saturday, March 30. The children from the Walpole villages hunted for painted eggs around the church grounds and the adjoining field. Each egg had a letter on which spelled out the name of “something we all eat at Easter” – hot cross buns.
