A trio of suspected burglars have been arrested thanks to the help of a member of the public. Police were patrolling the Parkwood area in Gillingham after reports garage blocks were being targeted late one night. At 10.50pm on Sunday, the group were spotted acting suspiciously by a passerby who alerted the police. The tip-off helped police who subsequently arrested three teenagers in Lordswood on suspicion of burglary and being equipped to steal. Balaclavas, gloves, and a handful of tools were also seized.
