A robbery suspect’s attempt to evade arrest took a rather soggy turn today when he decided to jump into the Halifax River. Daytona Beach Police officers responded to a robbery call earlier today. Upon spotting the suspect on a bridge, they anticipated a routine apprehension. However, the suspect, identified as Richard Martinovics, had other plans.
