Some parts of Calabar, Cross River State, have been plunged into darkness due to the destruction of electricity poles by a windstorm. The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company confirmed the development in a statement on Sunday. The Disco blamed the power supply disruption experienced in parts of the state capital to a windstorm.
