Italian law enforcement officers have discovered a counterfeit money printing plant not far from the city of Lecce in the south of the country. The operator, who sold the high-quality counterfeit banknotes to customers elsewhere in the European Union, had been tracked down and charged, the Carabinieri said on Tuesday.
