At least three people died when a bus plunged into a river in the Russian city of St Petersburg on Friday, and a further four were described as clinically dead, the state-owned TASS news agency reported. Two people were severely injured but were rescued from the waters of the Moyka River. According to initial reports from the investigators, the driver lost control of the bus for reasons unknown. A video clip published on the X messaging service shows the bus veering to the wrong side of the road before plunging over the side of a bridge.
