Motorists are being warned to plan their journeys due to a series of overnight bridge closures. National Highways is carrying out repairs and maintenance work to the crossing which goes over the A2 at Pepper Hill, in Hall Road, in Northfleet. This includes replacing the expansion joints and waterproofing the bridge. To ensure work can be carried out safely, the road will have a series of overnight closures between 8pm and 6am.
