A bridge is set to be shut overnight and throughout several weekends this month. Engineers will be inspecting and repairing the crossing over the M20 on New Hythe Lane in Larkfield. A spokesperson from National Highways said: “Works are to replace the expansion joints and waterproofing to the bridge, which is critical to maintaining and improving safety to the structure.” As a result, the section of road will be shut between 8pm and 6am for more than two weeks.
