Safe and Well Visits have been carried out after a serious house fire. Firefighter from Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Newark station and Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Brant Broughton station attened the fire on Tuesday, April 9. The services were called to a house fire on The Waterfront, Newark, at 1.21pm. All people were accounted for and there were no injuries. The fire was caused accidentally by cleaning rags being put into a tumble dryer.
