Ange Postecoglou was left unimpressed with Tottenham Hotspur’s first-half display against Brighton yesterday. Spurs fell behind in the 17th minute after Micky van de Ven made a rare error at the back and brought Danny Welbeck down in the area. Pascal Gross stepped up and made no mistake from the spot to beat Guglielmo Vicario. Tottenham were largely second-best in the first half and struggled to play through Brighton’s press. Despite a dramatic improvement in the second half which led to a 2-1 win, Ange Postecoglou feels his Spurs side have plenty to work on at Hotspur Way over the coming days…
