There’s no doubt that both Unai Emery and Aston Villa fans will be so deflated following the late defeat against Manchester United. Whilst the visitors did play well at times, Emery’s side also proved their credentials to at least earn a point. Perhaps Douglas Luiz could have even scored a winner quickly after getting his side level, the chances were there. But as so many teams have oddly experienced this season, Scott McTominay ultimately popped up with a decisive goal. Unai Emery will surely still be pleased with some individual performances, even if the likes of Boubacar Kamara disappointed…
