(The Center Square) – The Wausau Common Council chose not to take up and vote on a resolution this week from Mayor Doug Diny to add security for its ballot drop box. Diny had proposed the council suspend its rules and hear Diny’s resolution on security but the motion was met with silence, meaning it was not considered or voted on. The proposed motion came after 20 members of the public spoke on the topic during the public comment portion of the meeting.
