More than two years after the start of its war against Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin has once again replaced one of his country’s deputy defence ministers. Lieutenant General Andrei Bulyga will in future be responsible for the material and technical supply of the army, the Ministry of Defence in Moscow announced on Monday evening. Bulyga, who was previously deputy commander of the Western Defence District, succeeds Colonel General Alexei Kuzmenkov, who only took over the post less than a year ago.
