A MOTORIST was caught behind the wheel after taking cocaine. Gianni Garzia appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 4. The 24-year-old, of Dunoon Close, Calcot, admitted driving a Ford Transit van on New Lane Hill in Reading on Christmas Eve last year when the amount of the Class A controlled drug in his system exceeded the specified limit. Mr Garzia, who was legally represented by Luis Williamson, was fined £126. In addition he was ordered to pay £85 costs plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £48. Finally, Mr Garzia was banned from driving for 12 months.
