A Thatcham-based business has been recognised as one of Europe’s fastest growing companies. 500 Logistics, off Pipers Way, made it into the Financial Times 1,000 Europe’s fastest growing companies list. The logistics company – which transported more than 200 trailers of event equipment for the 2023 Ryder Cup in Italy – came in at 163 on the list. The business was founded in 2016 and by 2019 it had a revenue of €275,283 (£234,450.27) and by 2022 this had increased to €3,064,617 (£2,610,042.36).
