Charity champion Katie Callaghan has been honoured with a British Citizen Award for her work brightening the lives of children and young people enduring long stays in hospital. The 22-year-old founder of the Cards For Bravery charity said receiving the prestigious award in recognition for “extraordinary endeavours” was “incredible” and a “true testament to my dedication to my volunteering work”.
