Concerns were raised by councillors when they were asked to consider the installation of footfall counters in town. Swaffham Town Council was asked to consider the installation of the cameras at their full meeting on Wednesday. The purpose of the cameras is to record footfall in the town, to monitor how many people are using high street shops and to record how much traffic is coming into Swaffham.
