A 40-year-old man has been charged with multiple counts of theft including looting Easter eggs from a supermarket. Robert Fletcher, of Broadway, Maidstone is accused of stealing the chocolate from Tesco in Tonbridge Road on March 17. It is alleged he also stole alcohol valued at almost £200 from a different Tesco in Farleigh Hill on February 26. Another theft is believed to have taken place at Poundland in Week Street on March 21. A customer reportedly left the shop without paying for food including confectionary goods.
