Russian military aircraft were spotted near Nato waters on Wednesday as Putin launches huge naval and air drills including China in joint manoeuvres. US fighter jets conducted an intercept when two Russian military aircrafts were detected near Alaska. The Russian aircraft remained in international airspace and did not enter American or Canadian sovereign airspace. It comes as Russia began their “Ocean-24” exercise earlier this week.
