A ferry sailing from Germany to Sweden on Thursday suffered engine damage and had to be towed back to port by several tugboats. The ship lost the ability to manoeuvrer after the engine problems and was brought back to dock in the port of Rostock-Warnemünde on the German Baltic Sea coast in the afternoon, according to a spokesman for the Waterways and Shipping Administration. The ferry had departed from the same port several hours earlier en route to Telleborg in Sweden.
