Eleven people were injured due to turbulence on a Lufthansa flight from Buenos Aires to Frankfurt which landed on Tuesday morning, the German airline said. The Boeing 747-8 aircraft had taken off from Buenos Aires when it was suddenly caught in severe turbulence due to air currents over the Atlantic. “Five passengers and six crew members unfortunately suffered mostly minor injuries,” said an airline spokeswoman.
