Earlier this year, Vivo announced the Vivo V30e 5G as the launch model in the Vivo V30 series. Now that the brand has already unveiled several V40 series smartphones, it looks like it is gearing up to unveil the Vivo V40e 5G. The said device was recently spotted under the model number V2403 in the Bluetooth SIG database. The same phone has also appeared in the Geekbench database, revealing its chipset, RAM and permanent memory.

According to Geekbench, the Vivo V40e is powered by an octa-core MediaTek chipset with a clock speed of 2.5 GHz. It is mentioned that the device has a k6878v1_64 motherboard and a Mali G615 MC2 GPU (according to the source code).
These details are enough to suggest that Vivo V40e has a Dimensity 7300 chip on board. Recall that the V30e was equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. The D7300 is also used in the Oppo Reno 12, Nothing CMF Phone 1, and Motorola Razr 2024 series of smartphones.
The Geekbench listing also lists Android 14 and 8 GB of RAM as the Vivo V40e’s specifications. In the single-core and multi-core tests, the device scored 1028 and 2938 points respectively. Apart from the details that emerged from the appearance of the V40e in Geekbench, nothing else is known about its other characteristics.
