The Confederation of African Football, CAF, on Sunday night consoled Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali following Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, final 2-1 defeat to Ivory Coast. Nwabali, who has been impressive for Nigeria at the 2023 AFCON, failed to lead Jose Peseiro’s men to victory against Ivory Coast. The Chippa United shot-stopper conceded two goals against the host in the final.
