National teams manager Joti Chatzialexiou will leave the German Football Federation (DFB) after two decades at the end of the year. The DFB said on Tuesday its leadership decided to “fulfill his wish to pursue a new career path.” DFB president Bernd Neuendorf named Chatzialexiou “a central player who shaped the DFB in the last two decades.” Chatzialexiou joined the DFB in 2003 and held various functions with the junior national teams, winning European titles with the U17, U19 and U21 sides.
