Brave1 is opening a laboratory for testing CRPA antennas for drones, where Ukrainian developers will be able to test them effectively.
Such antennas detect false electronic signals and help to ignore them. As a result, enemy electronic warfare does not affect the drone’s navigation and it flies to the target.
The importance of testing
“Previously, manufacturers tested CRPA antennas themselves, but each had its own equipment and different test conditions. Because of this, it was impossible to determine which development was the most effective,” says Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Fedorov.
According to him, Brave1’s laboratory has everything you need to test antennas. Different designs will be tested there under the same conditions and their effectiveness will be compared. During the tests, manufacturers will immediately understand which antenna is ready to work at the front and which needs to be improved.
Stable connection
“Victory in the war is only possible if we win the technological race that is currently taking place in the offices, workshops and laboratories of defense innovators. One of its key stages is to maintain the high efficiency of drones on the battlefield. This requires stable communication that is resistant to enemy electronic warfare,” says Natalia Kushnerska, CEO of Brave1.
She is confident that the launch of the laboratory will help Ukrainian developers improve their solutions, and they, in turn, will create an advantage for Ukrainian drones on the battlefield and deep behind enemy lines.
Defense innovators who want to test their own antennas in the new laboratory need to fill out a form.
The Brave1 participants are systematically working to improve their developments to make them resistant to enemy electronic warfare. The war of technology continues. Create innovations, join Brave1 and strengthen the defenders.
