Moscow – Around 120,000 people have been evacuated so far as a result of the Ukrainian advance into the Russian region of Kursk, the local governor said on Monday. A further 60,000 people are still in need of transfer out, the acting governor of Kursk, Alexei Smirnov, is reported to have said during a consultation with President Vladimir Putin.
