Golfbreak, a U.K.-based travel site and PGA Tour’s official golf travel partner, recently named 16 American golf resorts as the best in the U.S. It’s a coast-to-coast and even off-the-coast list, topped by Kiawah Island, one of South Carolina’s barrier islands and home to five famous courses — as well as, of course, white sand beaches and other leisure attractions.
