Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marcel Sabitzer was on Tuesday banned for two matches over a red card offence and as a result will miss the big game against his former club Bayern Munich. Sabitzer was sanctioned by the German Football Federation (DFB) for a foul against Werder Bremen’s Mitchell Weiser. Dortmund pleaded in vain for a one game suspension as Sabitzer will now miss Sunday’s game against Eintracht Frankfurt and the date with Bayern after the international break on March 30.
