Owners of a Premier Inn in Cambridge are looking to demolish the hotel’s restaurant in order to build more than 20 new bedrooms. Plans have been put forward to demolish the Beefeater restaurant in Huntingdon Road to make way for a two-storey extension to the hotel. Premier Inn Hotels Ltd said the hotel was seeing “considerable demand” for rooms whereas the restaurant was seeing a “shortfall” in demand.
