By Felix Keith The world of athletics has come together to pay tribute to Kelvin Kiptum after he died in a horrific car crash in Kenya. Kiptum died alongside his coach Gervais Hakizimana, 36, on Sunday after the car he was driving came off the road and hit a tree. Police said he had “lost control [of the vehicle] and veered off-road entering into a ditch on his left side” before he “drove in the ditch for about 60 metres before hitting a big tree”.
