Pastor Joe Osteen has blamed the “forces of evil” for a recent shooting at his Lakewood Church. Speaking at the press conference with the police in Houston, Osteen reminded the world that “God is in control,” though he didn’t explain how God was involved in this case. “We have been here 65 years,” Osteen told the press. “To have somebody shooting in your church — we don’t understand why these things happen.
