The Paris Games have officially been closed by International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Thomas Bach. Bach closed the third Games in the French capital towards the end of a lavish and futuristic closing ceremony which included handover to the 2028 hosts Los Angeles. “The Olympic Games Paris 2024 were Olympic Games of a new era,” Bach said.
