LAKELAND, Fla. – An investigation is underway after three people were shot and two have died, according to the Lakeland Police Department. According to police, on Monday, at approximately 6:34 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of 1850 Cambridge Cove Circle for a shooting which just occurred. Officers arrived within two minutes to find two people who were struck by gunfire. Lakeland Fire Department and Polk County Fire Rescue all arrived on the scene to begin life-saving measures.
